The HandsOn Tech program offers individuals and professionals with unique volunteer opportunities to utilize their special skills and expertise in all things technology. Volunteers can lend their skills as technology facilitators, presenters, trainers, ITs, and as software and hardware consultants. If you are a technology guru or an individual who has technology expertise, please consider volunteering for our program. The community needs you!
We offer a chance for you to share your expertise by facilitating a large or small group training, working one-on-one with nonprofit staff, assisting with developing a website or social media presence, or creating a database design or program.
For specific volunteer opportunities, please view our latest projects and opportunities here.
Skills-based volunteering means leveraging the specialized skills and talents of individuals to strengthen the infrastructure of nonprofits by helping them to build and sustain their capacity to achieve their missions. It can take as little as a few hours to prepare for a presentation or a few weeks to be in charge of deep-dives (long-term projects for individual nonprofits).
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Put your good skills to good use!
